 “This was me and my partner’s first time to Vietnam and we couldn’t be more pleased with the accommodation at the corner riverside villa

 1.Better river views – if you look at the map, this has way better picturesque views of the wide river in the day when you look out your window, as compared to the other villa’s along the narrower stretch of the river where there isn’t much “river” to see. In addition, its along a quieter street which is more peaceful and relaxing after a full day in the busy streets. And makes for a more peaceful sleep!

 2.Great bedroom – room was in good condition and i experienced no issues like what some of the other guests commented. Since i am terrified of roaches i would also Like to add that it was super clean with no roaches in sight. Maybe just a 1-2 ants here and there but its normal given ants are everywhere in any city. Great shower facilities with both a standing shower and bathtub, and a seperate toilet.

 3.Outstanding service & hospitality – The most important part, especially by Khuu Phuong. Phuong greeted us when we first arrived and was so warm and friendly – she had a specially curated list of personal places to visit (local establishments of her personal favourites + common tourist attractions) which you could request via whatsapp (all hyperlinked to google maps etc). This made it super easy for us to prioritise what we wanted to see, and eat and it was amazing that the accommodation provided us bicycles for us to cycle and reach the hoi an night market and other common places you would visit frequently, making a 21-30 minute walk just a 5-10 min cycle away! Phuong also was super helpful in helping to book any activities we wanted. She spoke excellent english and made our experience an amazing one at the corner riverside villa. I would say that we thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be back! Its only 2-3 mins further from the other accommodations at the narrower part of the river, but 110% worth it! Especially since the bicycles make the 2-3 mins extra negligible. Thank you for the wonderful experience Phuong and Team at the corner riverside villa! We will be back!”

“The hotel itself is very nice. We never minded that it’s not in the old town but a 10-15 min stroll from it, we actually liked the tranquility of being a little secluded from the touristy and busy area. Khuu Phuong (who clearly runs this place) is amazing. She sat with us to give us recommendations of activities, local restaurants etc for 20 minutes. She also arranged a couple of tours for us and every time she saw us she would stop whatever she was doing to say hello and check on us. She’s definitely the best thing about the place and I could say one of the best people I’ve met, so caring and kind that she definitely makes you feel at home
 The other staff were also super kind and sweet. We only had breakfast but it was very good and in my opinion a big amount of food. The swimming pool was nice and literally empty so very relaxing.
 We also borrowed bikes from the hotel for free several days to go to the beach and other places, a big highlight of the stay. Overall a great place to stay and couldn’t recommend enough. Will definitely book again if I come back to Hoi An. Thanks so much Phuong, you’re a star! 😊”

““This is a great hotel. It’s not perfect, but it’s close.
  1. Food – A delicious breakfast is included. If you order a large menu item the night before, you will receive one entree and two drinks per person.
  2. Facilities – Beautiful indoor/outdoor breakfast restaurant with koi pond – Good sized warm outdoor pool with lounge area (clean but could use a bit of maintenance) – Free bikes – great for swinging and enjoying breakfast. Beautiful riverside patio drinks.
  3. Room – Spacious and quiet with southern views of the river and distant mountains – Large balcony with chairs and table.
  4. Service – Friendly and helpful front desk staff.
  5. Location – Best river view close to city center. Just a 10-minute walk to the start of the popular ‘Old Town’ tourist/restaurant/shopping area (western end). The night market is just a 15-minute walk away. There is a good restaurant a 1-minute walk from here.”

   “It’s a bit out of the way, but the staff was really friendly and there weren’t many guests, so I had the swimming pool almost to myself! However, it was difficult because there were a lot of ants.”

 “Excellent service, I have never seen staff so dedicated to making our stay perfect! Khuu Tiên was great, she can do everything! I got lost in Hoi An and she found me after her shift because she was worried about me! She organized everything so that we were as stress-free as possible, including booking taxis and asking her colleague to arrange our lunch since we were leaving at 6am and lunches started at 7am (we had delicious Banh Mi, thank you very much to the night employee!!). The only negative point is that the hotel could do with a good cleaning, including the walls under the air conditioning which are leaking. Otherwise, everything was great! Great location, quiet and within walking distance of Hoi An attractions (but best by scooter/taxi since it was too hot)! Magnificent landscape, heavenly!! Thanks again to the entire housekeeping team for cleaning the room 😁 I recommend!!”

 “Affordable accommodation with delicious breakfast”

“The staff is friendly and the breakfast is delicious. Perhaps because I visited in October and there weren’t many tourists, it wasn’t a buffet style breakfast, but they made it for you if you chose from the menu. The reception staff and housekeeping team were all very friendly and nice. However, even considering that it is the rainy season, the bedding in the accommodation has an unpleasant smell (a musty smell of mold), ants, and cockroaches, so it seems that quarantine is necessary. “Other than the condition of the room, the advantage is that it is quiet as it is away from Hoi An Central Market.”

“Clean, friendly and quiet”

I think it’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the center of the old town. Walking along the river at night is very atmospheric. The interior design is neat and the terrace is nice. There is a garden in front of the hotel, so it’s great for relaxation. Laundry fees are cheap, and breakfast is provided. The downside is that the soundproofing isn’t very good. I was okay with that and slept well, but I think there are people who might be concerned.

“You can have a different breakfast every day, and the staff were very friendly, so I was satisfied with my 6 nights. The distance to the old town was not too far, so I liked the location where I could walk around and see the night view. The room was clean and stylish, and I was very satisfied. However, it was inconvenient because there was no elevator. There was a lizard on the hallway wall, but it wasn’t that scary, but I still think it would be better without it. In the end, I’m generally satisfied.”
